Food was delicious, everything was served well in great authentic crockery which I enjoy, quite quirky glasses which was fun for the cocktails. Everything was so tasty and arrived at the same time for everyone who was eating, nan bread was my favorite, portion sizes are just right not too much or too little for per person. Even tried the dessert I had the mango raspberry sorbet and was just perfect after a curry meal great palette cleanser. Great experience loved this restaurant since I first went about 3 years ago precovid and is still as good as it was back then, very chilled atmosphere, pretty decor inside and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Vegetarian options: There seemed to be a lot of vegetarian options alternative on the menu. Parking: Parking is available seemed to be fairly big with enough space for everyone dining.
This time straight to menu we had. Delicious and yummy dishes! Fantastic fluffy, crispy, soft Butter Naan, Tasty and spicy King Prawns curry, South Indian Chicken Curry. Loved their amazing signature Egg Fried Rice! So hot and Spicy . The chicken biriyani and the raitha was feast to taste buds! Cost is bit on the premium side so is with every other Indian restaurants in Edinburgh! It’s worth paying for good food!
Nice ambience and the food was really tasty. The most liked item was samosa and its really mouth watering taste. The gravy which i ordered was mix veg curry which is also really tasty.
Great starters, paneer and fish pakoras. Palak paneer and lamb madras for mains. Good beers on tap. Food was delicious, spice level great and awesome service.
One of the best place to host parties in Edinburgh. Whether you are looking to dine in with family or throw a party, Spice Lounge is the place! The owner, Mr Jas Singh is amazing person he accomodate all your special request from DJ to decoration to special food menu. The quality of food is superb..they have variety of drink options, so are the staff, very friendly and empathetic. One of the best part is they have ample parking.
Recommended by a friend of mine, I decided to try the Spice Lounge & I was not disappointed, a very warm welcome by the staff on arrival. We were given a lovely booth in the very nice restaurant. Staff made sure we were catered for at all times. The food itself was unbelievably good, some of the best Indian food i have had. I will be returning to the spice lounge and anyone who hasn't been yet I would highly recommend.
Spice lounge kitchen was a great experience. The food is exceptional staff are friendly and couldn't help our party enough. With no little waiting time on orders of your food and drink and just the overall atmosphere.i would recommend spice lounge kitchen to anyone. Thank you for a fantastic night.
Highly recommended, great food very very tasty fair price and staff very friendly and helpful I would definitely go back as food is the best one around .
This used to be very good indeed but it's definitely lost its star quality. No side dishes available and a very limited white wine list. Waitresses were pleasant but very inexperienced and lacking confidence. Overall, a disappointment.Food: 3/5
Food is good and taste as expected four stars for that normally food is expected to be served within and max by 15-20 mins. But today I went there and ordered food and it took more than 30 to 40 mins for the food to get prepared while some more people ordered and they got it delivered way sooner. When I asked the waiter about the order he started being extremely rude which dissapoints me. So in short overall service and staff behaviors is not upto marks. I'm giving it a two star because behavior is extremely important and I didn't find that in Spice Lounge.
