SPICE LOUNGE FOOD AND PROVENANCE
Located in the famous northern quarter district in Manchester we at spice lounge aim to provide the authentic taste of the Indian subcontinent, allowing for the perfect backdrop of the exquisite cuisines greater India has to offer. Our traditional dishes range from the tip of the Himalayas to the shores of the bay Bengal.

It is through our passion and dedication that we pride ourselves on; this allows us to give our guest the very best in taste and quality, offering a mouth watering experience. Our chiefs have extensive knowledge in the fine arts of Indian cuisine; their goal is to provide the perfect dish.

Visited Spice Lounge for the first time while fasting and had a great experience. The staff were incredibly accommodating, offering us a quiet space to rest until sunset break-fast. The food was beautifully presented, and they carefully tailored the dishes to suit our tastes. Despite being busy, the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for an excellent dining experience.

Recommended by friends who live locally this Indian/ Bangla  restaurant was delicious/ great value for money and great airy clean atmosphere . Tandoori mix grill .. ch tk mossala mushroom bhaji chapati naans were fresh hot & tasty with a good helping of poppadoms  Naeem & another lovely waiter  served us and we definitely would be coming back , thank you

This is a very decent place if you want to have Indian food in Manchester.  Whatever we ate had lots of flavours and was tasty The only issue we had was the chapati was super hard as hard as a papadFood: 3/5

walked in with my wife and waited 10 minutes in an empty restaurant to be seated and served, then we waited another 30 minutes before receiving my food which was warm and had hair in my lamb bhuna which when i went to complain about it to one of the waiters i was told that it wasn't hair until i had to ask for the manager, the naan was very stale but my butter chicken was good even though it was lukewarm. would not go here again!!

Great quality, prompt for collection, and good value for money. Staff were pleasant and the service was speedy Wednesday evening so pretty empty at 6:30. I had the Chicken & Chana Balti, Garlic Rice and Cheese Naan, my partner had the Tandoori Mixed Grill and Keema Naan. In total it came to £25, we got a 25% discount not sure why but i’m not complaining!. The cheese naan wasn’t particularly cheesy but good nonetheless, and the balti was gorgeous! Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Ordered a takeaway, and everything was absolutely amazing and delicious,  plenty of meat in the curries and good size portions on starters and rice . Would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5

We ordered take away. 2 chicken biryani’s which was no where close to chicken biryani’s no flavour nothing. All it tasted was turmeric rice. Also i found stone in biryani’s which i showed them. Manager got masala plate to show its spices which definitely was not spice and totally denied the fact. I say its very bad quality. Guys serving were very nice and polite.

Very nice restaurant, possibly the best we have been to. Food was absolutely fantastic, service very good and very polite staff, We will definitely return the next time we are in ManchesterFood: 5/5
