Ridiculously wonderful food. No frills just lovingly well produced extremely flavoursome dishes. Real home made street food without the marketing. Family run tiny curry restaurant that puts effort into every dish everyday. Basic space, magnificent food. How I like it.
Nice family run curry house. Has a tandoor so the naan is the best of all around town. This and kabana for me.
I work in Manchester and recently came across Cafe Marhaba after recommendations from colleagues. What a fantastic little place, it may be hidden away and not look too much from the outside, but I got a warm and friendly welcome when I entered, the food was all fresh and my Chicken Tikka kebab including homemade Naan was all cooked in front of me, portion sizes were spot on and was very reasonably priced for the middle of the city centre. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back to try the 3 curries and rice.
This is by far one of the best hidden Gem’s in Manchester. Don’t judge it by it’s location or looks. Everything is homemade and fresh so give yourself some time. Seating is restricted to around 8 - 10 people maximum 2 per table but if your group can’t fit then get takeout and sit somewhere like Piccadilly Gardens and enjoy. This is not to be missed. I’ve been going for about 10 years or more and can’t find anything else that quite hits the spot. This n That come very close if you know where they are but not quite. If you’re getting takeaway and plan on catching a train give yourself an additional 45 mins. I usually call on my motorbike as I can just about park outside however the side street is very narrow so walking is advised.
Absolutely fantastic food. Best cafe curry food I've tasted.
Nice place, inexpensive, tasty has vegetarian options as well.
If you want some top tier curries for a quick lunch this is the spot for you. Incredibly tasty food
Whenever I visit Manchester, I never miss dining in at Marhaba. Very good quality food in homely environment and reasonable price. Highly recommended. 5 star
Absolute hidden gem. Never judge a book by its cover, lovely food, freshly cooked and really friendly staff. Thanks.... see you on our next football trek Ian
