Not one to usually write reviews but this place was unbelievable today. I was in the shop to buy couple of items to put in a parcel. The 2 shop assistants took 10+ minutes to sort out some till error. Once I got served assistant did apologise I then moved to the Post Office to post the parcel. I was 3rd in queue. The guy in front of myself gave up. The PO assistant was not serving but getting all the mail sorted. Once she had finished she did serve 1st customer. By the time it was my turn time was 3pm Post Office closing time. Parcel was weighed and I paid for 1st class she then told me it would not go until tomorrow. Cut off time is 2.50pm but Post office is open until 3pm. I said just give me it and I will put it in to a post box but she couldn't do that either as she had stuck postage label on it. I must be missing something . No doubt my parcel is still there tomorrow !!
Love this shop. Much the same as Spar Rosevale Road but with more selection. Post office is efficient for the small amount of staff. They have all Paypoint services & a cashline outside.
This shop no longer has a post office.
Visited at 4pm. Me + one other shopper.
