Purchased 4 car headlamp bulbs and, as it was raining heavily, got them fitted at the store .Assistant manager was extremely helpful and dealt with the fitting efficiently in 20 minutes. All staff were customer friendly.
1st time charged twice for a bike helmet and they would only refund if I drove 30minutes back to the store. 2nd time needed a headlight changed, simple enough, when completed I started my car up and sidelight no longer working….will avoid this place at all costs in the future.

Visited Dumfries store today. Arm and a leg for new battery and thankfully got the team to fit it for me. Thanks to Kevin, Alex and particularly Ian who persevered and got the job done. 40 years ago would have done it myself but this one was tucked away practically out of sight. Well done Halfords.
The gentleman who fitted my Dash-cam was professional throughout my visit, he was knowledgeable about my car a new Hybrid and spent time explaining the app to me. I would absolutely recommend Halfords in Dumfries and have given them a well deserved 5 stars.
