Good choice and value, but the checkout experience leaves a lot to be desired. As most people are aware lidl like to get you through the checkout quickly, which is fine. They have a long conveyor to allow you to get all your shopping unloaded and get your trolley to the till end of the belt ready to load it back in. My disappointment is that when the belt doesn't have anyone in front of you and you start loading your shopping on the cashier starts ringing it up and piling it up at the till while you're still trying to empty your trolley and get it to the till end to pack. It's chaos. I wish they would work there own system.
Lovely well stocked clean shop. Staff were very nice , helpful.. I have to travel some distance to get to shops but this os always on my list
What a store great valuenStaff exxcelent
I wouldn't usually review a supermarket, but this place deserves mention for the ease of parking for those in a van or camper. Large bays, plenty of space to maneuver between them, and located just off a main road junction.nThe place was spotlessly clean, the all important bakery well stocked, and 'the middle of Lidl' special buys, were in good supply.nA recommended stopover if travelling/camping in southern Galloway.
Great place shop all the staff are brilliant, excellent value for money
