Such a poorly run housing association from the top to the bottom!. Repairs are not carried out to a high standard and that's just when you can actually get them to carry out Repairs after weeks of chasing up Repairs you are simply told nobody has picked up the job yet as jobs are just left sat around on the system until someone picks them up once they have been logged in its almost like picking names out of a hat how they run their repairs waiting list. Never heard anything like it before. And then when someone finally comes out to carry out a repair you then have to ring up and complain to have someone else come out and fix the botched job that the first engineer had done. And don't get me started on how the staff speak to you over the phone! By far the worst housing association in Manchester!
The most rude and narcissistic housing agency I have come across! Preferred Riverside as my landlord compared to these cheapskates! And them words were from the recent contractors they hired, still waiting on plastering repairs from 2019, and now no electrics in my bathroom and got shouted at for trying to book a repair with them, and am still awaiting for my complaint to be followed up. Exactly where does our rent money goes to is what is deeply concerning me especially since your reviews are lower then average! And you're not upholding your end of the contract when it comes to looking after your TENANTS!
I rent a private flat of which above is a Southway tenant. For the last 2 and a half years my landlady has been emailing and phoning only to be cut off pictures galore of waste food being discarded down a shared drain and blocking water flow. Dynorod have been out about 6 times and we've put bags with holes in over the offending pipe to let water out and long socks tied to the pipe and each time they have been FULL of food. They will have a dossier of emails and pics and yet nothing has been done to date 4/1/23. The drain bottom is actually collapsing, they've known this a long time and NOTHING is being done. I've suggested writing to the tenant to advise that FREE bags can be obtained for this purpose but its been falling on deaf ears for years..............a thoroughly disgraceful company that ignore people, shame on you for all the ignored/disgruntled people.
Disgraceful and disrespectful service. You secure the repairs but they do not come in multiple occasions and they do not inform you. You call the day before to make sure they are coming but the day after they will not attend the meeting. Even if they know they cannot come they will not write you any apology and you have wasted your holidays waiting for them uselessly. It highlights deep issues in management and customer service as they have no clue about the way to work with their clients.
Absolutely horrendous management staff,they make up the rules as they go along breaching tenancy agreements all the time. Hardly ever complete repair and do nothing in regards to complaints ,there’s been a few housing officers since I moved into this house and non seem to know what they are doing,the only decent housing officer I’ve known them to have was a lady called carol beckford,some of the staff are ok but a majority of management run the place backwards and don’t stick to agreements amongst other stuff
They was supposed to come and fix the boiler after it started leaking. They told us that they would send a repairman out at 5pm and to my shock nobody even turned up so we are sat freezing until they send someone. Absolute disgrace
I have always found southway office staff to be very supportive, pleasant and friendly, however, getting any repairs or jobs done is impossible, the repair crews are clueless, often rude and don't really care about the quality of their work.
Horrible , horrible , horrible . I’m watching my whole family and self stress over these house repairs. We were told 2 weeks and it’s been 7 weeks ongoing , no efforts being put and no priority despite having a disabled family member.
Worst service. Cannot get through on the phone. After holding for 30 mins the line will cut. Can't get anything fixed in the house. And when they do come they do a botched job which leads to more issues. It was never this bad. But last couple of years every service has been shocking. Dont bother complaining as they do not follow it up with you.
The fact that they ignored my inquiry about a property advertised on Manchester Move then they withdrawn the property without explaining anything Says a lot about their service. To look down on people who rent social housing and ignore their inquiries is unprofessional.
