Open throughout the year our cafe is the ideal place to enjoy everything from a tasty breakfast, lunchtime treat or relaxing dinner whilst you gaze out to the Solent from our unrivalled location on Southsea's beach. We are also open for for anyone just wanting to pop in for espresso style coffee, locally sourced tea and a slice of cake

Just the place for a lovely Brunch! Every time we come over, the place is always packed, which kinda speaks for itself! It’s a very popular place to eat! The customer service, most of the time is very good! Of course there are times where it’s hit or miss, but there’s no such thing as perfect! One thing that is pretty much perfect, is their food! I could not fault the food they serve! It’s wholesome, filling and tasty! I’ve been here so many times, I can happily recommend this place to anyone who’s in and around the area!!! It will not disappoint, I’m sure!!!
Simple but wonderful in the same time! The perfect place to have a brunch with your friends and to enjoy the beach! Better to call for a reservation if you do not want to wait. The food is delicious and the waiters team very kind and helpful. So do not hesitate to stop and try!Recommended dishesSmashed Avocado and Poached Eggs, Full English Breakfast
Couldn't ask for better views from an eatery. Only had a breakfast bap which was put together very nicely. They cook to taste so be sure to let them know how crispy/well done you want your food. They were so busy we couldn't eat inside so get there early or book ahead. They could do with a better system for takeaways. The server didn't take any names so it was a free for all when the food was called out. Overall it was nice and I'd go again. Especially on a day with a nice view.
Really nice place to visit even winter time, as there is heating and blankets available. Delicious soup of the day. I would strongly recommend and happily return to try more things.
Great spot for good breakfast and coffee. The french toast is amazing and definitely my favourite. Varied menu to suit all dietary requirements and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Will continue to visit regularly :-
Everything was great. My second visit and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The menu is varied and the fish platter in particular was delicious! Will definitely return. Vegetarian options: The vegan burger was really tasty. There was a mushroom risotto on the menu too which sounded wonderful. Parking: Free parking for 3 hrs around the canoe lake.
Omg, seriously the best fish n chips I've ever had. I have celiac so being able to go here and eat fish n chips at the beach was like a dream come true. The people were so nice and the atmosphere was great. Dog friendly as well so this place ticked all of our boxes!
A warm welcome awaits, literally from the roaring fire as well as the staff! A perfect place to warm up, enjoy delicious food after enjoying some fresh sea air AND the best bit is you can take the pooch in too!! A water carafe is brought to your table along with a bowl for your dog too! Service was fast and friendly, food was delicious and although it doesn't break the bank, it is a tiny bit more expensive than some of the other cafes; but hey they don't have the fabulous view of the sea, so for me worth every penny. Advisable to book in high season or weekends as it's very popular with locals. Booking is easy in advance on their website. Enjoy! We certainly did!
Visited for a coffee and cake and it didn't disappoint. We were seated in the 'snack area' outside looking into the beach. Great coffee, lovely cakes highly recommended the carrot cake and very nice views! Reasonably priced and staff very friendly. Would return and definitely recommend.
Lovely cafe. Always really tasty food and so great to spot and watch the rough sea this morning. The heaters were in inside so it was lovely and toasty.Food: 4/5
