From the first time I meet the seller, it was a good vibe and positive impact. Excellent customer service, discounts, and a lot of free services mot, free battery, free service, free 6 months road service in all UK, free cosmetic for the car. They come to pick up and drop off from the train station. Very fast documentation and fast in 10 minutes approved finance application. I couldn't find anything negative effects, actually more professional than a brand showroom car. Well done Southend Auto Sale.
Bought a golf last summer nothing but issues with it. Only done 5k miles has needed new tyres, new brakes, new starter motor and the clutch,which they fitted, is absolutely awful done by someone who has very little skill on the cheap clearly as the front of the car has metal hanging way below the rest of the car. It is Impressive for a car to have so much wrong with it considering there is full service and mot history up until point of sale by previous owner. Avoid this garage at all costs.
Brought my X-Type here for some work on a door lock. The mechanic, Ronnie, was extremely accommodating and friendly. I supplied the parts and he was happy to fit them. The salesman was also friendly and happy to answer my questions. I’m not the easiest customer to please but I was very impressed by these guys! Ronnie is fantastic at what he does, very knowledgeable. Fast turnaround times.
I bought a Mark 1 Kia Picanto as my first car from this garage last year. Old Kias have a reputation for being terrible but this one certainly isn't and has been well maintained while in the garage's possession, of which I believe it may have been for almost 2 years. The car drives and rides really well and is faster than you would expect for a 1.0 litre. It has had some small issues, as is to be expected from old cars, but nothing catastrophic or expensive to fix. The garage owner was very friendly and helpful and owns up to mistakes. The internet price was £1,499 and the price posted on the car was higher as the car was on the secondary lot which I guess isn't visited that often, but the owner was more than happy to honour the lower price with no arguement necessary. Definitely a good place to go for your first car but do be careful with your choice as buying any second-hand car can be risky, regardless of the dealer.
Recently did a trade in deal with these guys. Friendly, left us alone with the car on the lot & also for the test drive. A large, very quiet industrial estate half mile down the road let us take the car through its paces & inspect it thoroughly. After coming to a deal I pointed out there was a rattle from underneath & was told the car would receive an oil/filter change, & this noise rectified, before I drove away.... on day of collection I arrived a little early, & personally witnessed the car on the ramp having the promised oil change done & the offending rattle had already been sorted. The car was then taken from the ramp to the wash/valet bay. One last inspection & I drove the car over an hour & a half home & I love it! Definitely recommend these guys, they knew I was coming but made no preparations for my arrival, the car had not been warmed up etc or had even been dug out from the lot... which I like! I went to look at a specific car but they have a good variety of vehicles/ages in stock & a cafe on site. If you're in that neck of the woods looking for a car, grab a coffee from the cafe & have a wander round their lot. Would visit again.
I would not recommend this company at all and would strongly advise everyone to stay clear of them. I bought a van from them for over £9000 and after just 4 weeks I had a blown tyre as it was totally bald, even though it had supposedly just passed an MOT, flat battery, problems with the turbo as well as quite a few smaller issues and it had supposedly just had an MOT before I got it. They didn't want to know when I asked for help towards the cost of repairs and obviously think that it is acceptable to sell vehicles that are not fit for purpose and will cost a lot of money to put right the issues that should have been sorted before selling it. Unless you have got a lot of money to pay for repairs, do yourself a big favour and buy from a trustworthy dealer.

Arrived early on a bank holiday Friday to collect an Astra GTC, Ryan came down before opening hours to meet us which was hugely appreciated. Ryan was very quick to get the paperwork sorted and the car was spotless and exactly as advertised. Definitely would buy from here again.
Choose carefully your car because if there's a fault, they won't fix it. In my case, live in Sheffield, work in London during the week, so went to see and buy a family car for the wife to do the school runs after work and took it back up to Sheffield. Fault arises within the first week, contacted them and they said to bring it back to them but don't have a courtesy car for me, I asked how will I get home, they said their car is out and over three weeks and is still out. I paid a local garage to do a fault check and gave them the report and they said its not covered by the warranty so I will have to pay for the repair. But I said the fault was there from almost when I bought it from them so its a fault that was already there, they refused to arrange a solution and ceased communication with me so I'll be going through the Motor Ombudsman.
I bought mercedes and found best customer sevices ever. Its worth purchasing my car. Very friendly dealers and after sales service. I will definitely come again to purchase another car for my wife. Thanks Southend auto sales. Highly recommends everyone to deal with them.
