We stayed in Borwick Lakes in August in one of the cabins with a view of the lake. I think the area is beautiful and perfect for a walk around. The cabins had everything we needed and was comfortable to stay. Aldi and Tesco is a short 4-5min drive away for your groceries if needed. It was peaceful and just what I needed for a few days. Negatives: The signal in the area is bad so make sure you have a good WiFi. Also certain parts of borwick lakes is still under development so some areas need maintaining like overgrown bushes and piles of rubble. But overall we did enjoy the stay, we would love to come back and recommend to others.
Lovely quiet holiday park with a fishing lodge and small play park for children. Great for exploring the areas of Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cumbria.
We've spend there last Christmas and freely I can recommend it. In nr 6 caravan is literally everything even hand lotion. Just go there and have fun.
"Carmels caravan" and "Nicks next to Carmels" both amazing, clean, tidy looked after caravans. Plenty of space in both and great care from Carmel to ensure you have everything you could possible need. You have the usual comforts from home in a beautiful location. Perfect for day trips into the Lakes or Yorkshire Dales. Great for couples, families, pet friendly or individual peaceful breaks. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Thanks again and we'll be back again soon
We stayed in Nics next door to carmel. A beautiful caravan. Everything that you need. As well as all the extras. Would recommend. to anyone
Quiet chilled out place to stay, beautiful Static homes, dogs welcome in some. Lovely lakes to fish in, Not far from Carnforth, Lancaster, Morecambe. We stayed for 7 nights and loved every minute.
I Hired a static caravan here in july 2020. There are 4 fishing lakes which are very well stocked with carp, bream, roach, trench, perch and many more. Fishing is reasonable price compared with other fisheries. It's a lovely scenic fish and caravan site to be on. Thank you Carmel for rental of your emaculate caravan. Paul.
Clean and very relaxed atmosphere. It's a small caravan park with a small lake, but perfect for a nice getaway. Will definitely go back.
Had the most amazing time here with my family stunning views and location and the caravan was spotless. Facilities and staff were fantastic . Will be going back very soon .
Lovely small mobile home park. Very quiet. Stayed in Carmels van. Very comfortable had everything we needed. Wi definitely go again.
