A jewel in the crown for Bracknell. Great comedy and local shows. If you fancy seeing upcoming or well established comics this is a great place. We see at least eight acts per year here and always thoroughly enjoy it in such a small venue. Pantomime and musicals are great fun too. Restaurant is fantastic and better than you would expect, worth a pre show dinner, and always great ales on tap! Outside the grounds are expansive, well looked after and the children love it. You can spend a whole day here in the good weather and have a great time. Great place.

We went to the atrium restaurant for mother's day. The food itself was really very tasty (trio roast...marvellous), sadly the service was atrocious. Took half an hour from the end of the main course to have a dessert menu brought to us despite asking three times. Many other people looking around wondering when they would be able to order. The staff were all very nice and friendly but seemed to be asked something and then instantly forget and go and ask someone else what they would like...so they could instantly forget that too. A real shame as it's a nice setting, lovely food and friendly staff.

Visited the Wilde Theatre at South Hill Park to enjoy the South East Berkshire Scouts Gang Show. This little theatre offers quite a good venue with facilities from bar, refreshments, accessibility (parking, seating & toilets), large car park and professional & friendly staff. The only down side are the small, cramped seats with little legs room. However I am rather large with long legs so this may not be such an issue for most people.

A beautiful historic mansion with a small Theatre attached and a little cinema inside too. Both the theatre and location draw many big names. It has a lovely bar and great menu if you're peckish. There is a music and comedy bar in the downstairs area called the Cellar Bar. Has artists in residence and is often displaying the work of artists sculptors jewellers and also has an incredible number of courses in the Arts including silversmithing dancing musical instruments. It has its own Theatre School and is a beautiful place to walk your dog and have picnics as it is surrounded by beautiful grounds, woods, lakes, fantastic mini maze and a lovely waterfall; there are even to play areas for the children. There is a pair of swans living on one Lake with lots of Canada geese and Egyptian geese and a heron which visits frequently. It was recently awarded money from the Heritage Lottery fund to bring the landscaping as close as possible to the original landscape when the mansion was first built. It truly is the Jewel of Bracknell and well worth visiting.

We watched Madagascar at the Wilde theatre, brilliant performance! Loved the fact the kids from Easter school were able to get involved. The parks outside are great for kids too
