Great location but very small car park. Bays are very small also The pay machines declined all my cards and I had no small change on me doesn't take bank notes. There is the ringo app you can use to pay however so that is easy enough.
Got a fine for £100-reduced to £60 if paid promptly- I had bought ticket just went over by a few minutes. Will not ever use this car park again. Would have rated 0but lowest I could do was one.
Got a fine of £60 while driving a disabled lady’s car. Clearly states there is no disabled concessions, which I overlooked - it’s a private car park not a council owned car park. If it was a council run car park I would have no fine! Won’t be parking there again!
I know so many people who have been fine here completely unreasonably. The fact that this is automated by a camera is a joke. I paid for an hour and was back in my car by the time my ticket was up but had an emergency phone call I needed to take in my car which took me a few minutes over time. Because it only registers you as leaving when you drive out the gates means I was fined £100 for a couple minutes. Don’t park here. Also, the card machine payments don’t work. I had to spend five minutes working out that the machine is broken and then another five trying to scramble together coins to pay in cash. The owner of this car park is a joker and I’m not parking here again which means the local hair dressers have also lost my business as a result unfortunatly, as they are great.
Not a great car park, small awkward spaces not made for modern cars. Smells of take out and rubbish everywhere. Also paid for 2 hours parking by RINGO and got a parking ticket for parking for 1hr 31mins. Do not park here! 1. its not a great location. 2 dirty 3. tight parking spaces 4. they ticket everyone !!!!
DO NOT PARK HERE! Overstayed the 3hr ticket I purchased by 10 mins. No offer or paying for this time by NPC. fined £60. Complete robbery.
ANPR but also pay and display! First visit to Chichester. Sat in car park googling for Disabled parking for 13 mins not knowing the conditions but no ticket was bought as still sat in car. Appealed with evidence of Disabled badge but rejected due to private company. It was a genuine mistake as unfamiliar with area but clearly unsympathetic organisation
Do not park here...£60 fine for being 10 mins late!!! Timings calculated by cctv camera, not actual ticket, stupidly called my husband to let him know I was on my way home before leaving carpark. Would give 0 rating if I could as only parked here for safety, as near where I was meeting friends.
Warning - do not use this NCP car park. You only have to be a few minutes late and you will get an automatic £60 fine. Remote CCTV logs your time in and out. Spoilt our short break to Chichester. Use council run car parks instead.
The pathways are coated in ketchup, mayonnaise, salad cream, milkshakes. Then there's chilli/barbecue beans all this course one's footwear to stick to the pavements that zigzag across the carpark. Dotted about dollops of ice-cream/drink chocolate these coating's oozing into one's socks or between your toes. The most Dirty place thanks to the international fast food outlets. Plus some unheard of restaurants offering food & beverages. Perhaps it's an age groups who hangout there. Is this their demonstration of the contempt for the City of Chichester. It's a must go to destination early on a Saturday morning or a Sunday. What would historians make of it.
