We were absolutely thrilled with the service and advice we got from Steve & Ben at Something Different. We looked at 3 different fireplace shops and they were by far the most professional, knowledgeable and had the best customer service. They met our tight deadline and have been fantastic to deal with. We would highly recommend them - in fact, we have already told all our friends there's no point in looking anywhere else if they ever need a wood-burning stove. Just brilliant!

We approached Something Different a couple of years ago, not knowing quite what we wanted or what would work in our house. Ben and the team helped us to get to a finished idea, and even had a customised stone hearth and surround arranged for us. The heat output of the stove is just right for the room and the installation was great and no fuss (even though they opened up an old chimney for us). All in all, fantastic service and product. Then recently, neighbouring building work caused water ingress into the chimney and stained the stone hearth. Ben was great and arranged the installer to visit and within a short time it was good as new again! Again no fuss, no mess and great service. Would definitely recommend.

Steve and Ben were very accomodating and helpful while we went through a number of fireplace options with them costing out each one and advising how best to fulfil our wishes within budget. The installation was carried out perfectly and we are very pleased with the end result. We would happily recommend them and used their services when many other providers were located much closer to our home. Many thanks, David and Annette.

Ben and the Something Different team not only helped us make the right choice of contemporary fire in our new build home but, throughout the process, they were easily to contact, prompt with their replies and their workmanship was excellent. We now have a stunning fire, hearth, chimney breast and a beautiful stainless steel flue that we love. We highly recommend Something Different. J and S Thorpe, Billericay.
