Great but bring lots of hand sanitizer. Don't get me wrong, my kids love it and have a great time. But as a parent you look at the details such as cleanliness and general upkeep of the place. The toddler role play area was unfortunately really dirty and grubby. For the price you pay, you expect higher standards. Surfaces were covered with dust and the toys were old, worn, paint scratching off. Kitchen role play area but no play food, cups plates etc. Everything sticky. This was first thing in the morning 9.30 so you'd think it would at least have had a wipe over. Given the amount of staff standing around at the front, you'd think someone could be allocated to wipe the surfaces over and make things look clean. This is for the youngest of babies and toddlers.
Wouldn’t even rate it a 1 star to be honest. I paid almost 300 pound for my son’s birthday party today. Went out of my way to buy snacks for the adults as nothing wasn’t offered for them. We arrive at the venue the first thing the staff said is you will have to leave your food here as we don’t allow outside food in I have been in communication with them numerous of times over the past few weeks and nothing was ever mentioned when booking. Even though you can bring in an outside cake? When I challenged them the young girl was back and forth with the manager and not even the young girl was aware of this “rule”. The manager didn’t attempt to come down and sort the problem out. The children play downstairs first and we was told our table was “over there” as a young boy points towards all of the tables. I had to ask someone to actually take us over to our table. We got to the table and it was put right in the corner and about 6 seats around the table with some juice on them. A 6 seater table for 14 children and parents? All the parents were scattered and not many people could actually sit together. The staff then came over and said they have given us a free sandwich platter. This consisted of about 20 little rectangles of sandwich attempting feeding 14 children parents and I had brought 3 trays of Costco wraps. We get to the party room and there was nothing special about it, no table cloths on the tables and all looked very empty. The music then wasn’t working for about 15-20 mins so the children were eating in silence while they attempted to fix this. To be honest I felt like the whole day was a shambles and it was actually quite embarrassing. I feel like the whole venue is run by young people and no professionalism at all. Don’t think I would be coming back even just for my child to play.
Today I visited snakes&ladders for the first time, it's wonderful! The children had a great time, there are many playgrounds, slides...etc. I highly recommend visiting this indoor playground, you will definitely be back after your first visit.
Food was average. But kids loved it.nnDid have to go to the front desk and tell someone to go and man the baby area as there was several children over the age limit riding push alongs down the slides into younger children.nI would understand if they were rushed of their feet, but 2 members of staff standing at reception chatting and no line at the cafe.nSafeguarding should be high standards in this place and it didn't seem like it was priority. Not sure I will come again.
My 2 year old haved a great time. Decent price. Staff are friendly and polite and it was dead when we went around 4.30pm on a hot Sunday which it great as no issue with parking space an no need to wait for the slide lol
