One of the best meat sandwiches in London! Definitely a stop if you are around Spitalfields Market. It is very filling and delicious flavour. It is mostly meat, but it's cooked to perfection, and the simplicity is what makes it great.
I have been in smokoloko many times and I have tried everything: rumpsteak, brisket and chicken. I would suggest to everyone the mixed brisket and rumpsteak regular size especially if your reply going to work after lunch :. The smoked meat is so good. If you are not convinced the chef allows you to taste it. There is often queue.
If you fancy chewing on some tough as leather steak then this is your place.
My absolute fav in this trip. Nice Smokey beef, brisket and chicken with pieces of pita bread that u can tear off to accompany the meat pieces. Absolutely something that any meat lover should go for if u are near Spitalfields. Be prepared to queue though!
Good amount of meat for the price you pay £8, and you have a good number of bbq sauces you can choose to add to your flatbread sandwich. Downside is that the meats are not freshly served and come slightly lukewarm, also having not much innate flavor. But it fills you up.
Lovely smoked meats place. Portion sizes have shrink a bit, while prices have climbed proportionately. Great lunch spot for meat lovers.
Cannot go wrong - everything they sell is freaking amazing. Highly recommend the steak
Excellent BBQ, one of the best food market lunches I’ve had. The meat was super soft and juicy.
