Story

The premise is simple – we will serve exceptional wine and cheese in an environment people can feel at home in. Inspired by our time spent living, working and travelling in Melbourne, New York, San Francisco and all over Europe we want to bring the best of what we experienced and enjoyed to Edinburgh.

S & G is a space where the focus is on what we consider to be the simpler pleasures in life; exceptional food and wine; brilliant music; engaging literature. And, most importantly, good company.

The focus will be on pairing artisan cheeses with suitably matched wines. We will be offering regularly changing cheese and wine flights showcasing the best seasonal cheeses alongside what wine we have been enjoying that month! As well as cheese we will have a fabulous selection of charcuterie, amazing grilled cheese sourdough, homemade sausage rolls and other tasty morsels.

Our ethos is Wine. Cheese. Company. In isolation all are good – together we think they are the basis for enjoying life.
