Good pet shop, acnomically and quality wise good as well. Mostly birds I have seen there and parrots the most. Fishes and fish tanks also you will find there. Different type and different quality of foods are there. Car parking is not sufficient there. Its not too bussy, so you may not face parking problem.
Great service and advice from the lady who served us. Great prices too. Place was being cleaned as we got there and the animals all looked pretty healthy. We ended up buying 3 budgies with a new cage, feeders x2, water feeder and a bag of food for all under £80. Toys bought separately from Amazon.
Bought a budgie from here today and I feel like I've rescued it. The conditions this shop keeps their birds in is awful. The place should be shut down, not a nice thing to see. The man clearly doesn't love animals, just trying to make money. So cruel.

Ok so how do i start… i could go on and on for forever on how much i love this shop. Ive been going for 8 years and i’ve become really good friends with the couple. They always give me advice about how to look after pets, i honestly don’t know why this shop gets a lot of hate in the reviews down below. This has to be a 5 star for me if it was possible i’d give more stars.
This place needs to be inspected. Birds overcrowded in cages...bird poo everywhere. Its a sad place for animals. Have reported them to the RSPCA. Not sure how they get good reviews sounds like mates to me. Have also reported them to trading standards....will see if they clean up their act
The reason they have 3 stars is that they are fraud. He guaranteed about a Canary and after a few days he looked at my eyes and said I didn’t. Poor liar. Don’t even think about shopping from here.
My friend bought 2 beautiful budgies from the shop and after like a year or so she was going to be selling them but I took them for free. But one of them opened the cage door and flew away but we are going to get them a new friend. Overall great place and can get a makeover.
Smethwick pets sells a good variety of birds etc and all pet feeds and needs are well stocked .. shop run by a very polite couple .. currently stock additions a large variety of gouldian finches .. worth a visit.
