Fantastic shop selling many artefacts of Panjabi culture and Sikh religion. I have bought a few dastaars turbans from here during the pandemic as I was unable to get any from Panjab itself during that time. The quality has been great, a fantastic variety of colours, and not bad prices. Also sells musical instruments. They have a good website you can browse and order on for delivery or free collection. Highly recommend to anyone of the culture or with an interest in it.
Great experience online, I called the shop several times before making my purchase and the owner was more than happy to answer my questions and ensure that the specific dhol including colours that I wanted would be sent out after ordering. Delivery was very quick and it was packaged very well.
Got tabla reskin, although OK the staff are just terrible. The man actually argued with me because I hadn't picked up my tabla. Very odd young man, major put off. I would've purchased more items but didn't. A courteous respectful attitude means a lot to me.
It was a nice surprise to find this shop as it has lots of Punjabi Heritage things . I was very impressed with Prabh who was working in the shop when I visited. He was very helpful, friendly and gave excellent advice.People like him are credit to any bussiness. I bought few things and hopefully will visit the shop again in near future. Dr A Khan
Amazing experience yet again with Punjabi Roots, this is the 3rd item I've had off them and I can't complain. I inspected it yesterday super fast delivery btw!! And it was perfect, even provided me with a fully padded case for my harmonium. Would highly recommended these guys to anyone as they're efficient, well priced, great with their customers and have a fantastic product range....thanks again guys, keep up the good work
I went Friday to buy patkas for my boys I bough afew when I got into car and checked sizes they were small and the strings were short I went back to get a refund for the ones I did not open but was told that they don't do refunds. I'm sure this can't be right as a consumer I'm entitled to return items a receive full refunded. I will be getting intouch with the council to see what my rights are.
I have been teaching the Dhol for several years and performing for over 20 years and Punjabi Roots is the best place for a Dhol in my opinion. Quality of Drums are outstanding and I would highly recommend if you need a Dhol. I have purchased 3 Dhols from here and they are all great!
Very professional, friendly and helpful service provided by Prabh today... bought a dhol for my son and Prabh was very attentive and helpful... lovely music shop and will definitely be coming here again! thank you :
If I could get no stars, it would have been better, bought a book online from this shop, absolutely nothing like it had been advertised, if fact the price is on the back, had to pay double the price, I understand postage costs, but a complete rip off...
Quit impressed with variety and really good service.
