Following a revamp the slug and lettuce stands out as a great place for something different but still affordable. Velvet plush booths and seats and quirky decor. Large patio at the rear which faces the sun with additional seating at the front. Mixed sharing board platters with tapas, standard bar food and burgers. 2-4-1 cocktails, wine Wednesday and Mondays enjoy burger and drink for £7. I recommend the Ruben burger, I didn't think one of the best burgers in town would be from slug and lettuce!

Food was good, but could of had a bigger portion size. Atmosphere and service was great. Would go there again.

One of our favourites. Not the cheapest although they do specialise in 2-4-1 cocktails which retail around £9 per pair. Food is a good range but the best thing about the place is the friendly atmosphere and decent fit-out.

I love this place. Nice atmosphere, good drinks, sometimes live music, 80’s music on every last Friday of the month and 90’s on the first Friday of the month. 2 for 1 cocktails and a nice terrace. I would love to have some more heating lamps outside on winter time.

There for a friend's 35th.Decent cocktails and beer selection with funky decor but music deafening, was well away from dance floor but holding a conversation was nearly impossible. I have no issues with loud music but speaker levels by bar and seating area could be lowered abit
