Been visiting the Yardley Arms since it used to be called the Millhouse when I was younger. Prices have increase a tad bit over the time of coming here but the food is still one of the best I tasted. Welcoming and friendly environment for the family and children, outdoor climbing area for is still there as I remember since visiting when I was child.

Bar staff were pleasant but not knowledgeable about what they had in stock or about food on the menu. Kitchen staff could not provide a dressing for salads, server said "We don't have any"!! The place was not busy, only a handful of people there & still the bar service was quite slow. This pub is in a nice location & should have lots of potential if the staff were properly trained.

Start off to say the food was lovely and full if flavour no complaints there, and good value too! I feel sorry for the staff you can tell its not managed well at all there is absolutely no organisation what so ever! Got the chef rushed off his feet mopping up serving food and pouring drinks! Half our food came out then had to wait another 5 minutes for the other half of the tables ( after reminding them ) The place was half empty on a bank holiday afternoon now I know why! Wait for the food was long, table next to us also had to ask how long their food will be, and they heard the same rehearsed line as us when getting served which is "sorry for the wait its busy" when the place was half empty! Toilets have piss all over the floor and sticky seats with duct tape holding the floor together, u can tell no one checks them all day long then to top it off the dryer dont even work! Absolute joke, it would be alright coming here for a couple of pints on a summers day as the outside area is nice, but as a restaurant its a bloody circus!! :/ Shame when it was the millhouse it was great but its really gone downhill :/

Don't order two for £9.99 ingredients are awful and kids pizza meal was shocking arrived with a Chicago town pizza slopped on it (possibly farmfoods own) yuck only plus the play area.
