Popped in with three friends up from the Smoke before the Huddersfield game against Fulham. Great little pub with a warm and friendly staff, superb service and terrific beers. The pie and peas are to die for, best of either I've ever tasted.
Lovely historical drinking spot. Nice locals. Great prices. Unfortunately didn't get to try the food. But I imagine it will be decent
This is a great pub which has hardly changed In 20 Years. Fantastic real ales and basic other drinks. Good atmosphere and does what it says on the tin well....beer.
The beer is always good. Peaceful atmosphere. Dogs are welcome if kept under control. Nice warm fire to sit around in winter. It's one of my favorites.
Tried booking on the Forestieri Fun Bus but the women on the phone was extremely rude and told me it wasn't available because the wheels have fallen off it. Could also hear what sounded like inappropriate relationships with dogs in the background, would probably avoid this place unless you're into that sort of thing.
Excellent beer, friendly efficient bar staff, match day pie and peas very tasty, a traditional proper pub
After ringing several times to enquire about the availability of the Forestieri fun bus. I was disappointed that they refused to answer my call. On a lighter note it is dog friendly.
Extremely disappointed to find out I wasn’t allowed on the Forestieri Fun Bus despite paying my deposit. The only positive was their pet friendly stance; especially dogs.
A good pint, quiet but friendly pub. Much bigger than you think it's going to be, so lots of space.
