Came for a little spot of lunch with my family. When we came in Michelle welcomed us when sat down at the table. When I went to the till to order the food Michelle was very helpfull with my food order and was lovely. The food was amazing and well worth the money. Will definitely be coming back after the service and food I've had today.
Had a great time on Wednesday when we visited Yates. Food was excellent. Good value as always. Excellent service from Michelle as always. Nothing is to much trouble. Love the fact I can have a desert even though I am dairy free, because they have vegan deserts.
Hubby and I went out for tea. We went to Yates. Hubby ordered mixed grill and I had bbq chicken we both enjoyed it. The staff was friendly specially Michelle who came up several times to check everything was OK. The choice was good and puddings too at a very reasonable price. Would recommend.
Enjoyed a Christmas meal with 14 friends, We meet each year finding less establishments doing a traditional Christmas meal, so well done Yates. The food was tasty and plentiful with a good choice for each course, it could have been hotter and I had 3 tiny roast potato and no parsnips but for the price I really shouldn't complain. The staff were friendly & attentive, the table looked lovely too. An overall enjoyable experience
Food and service were very good, we all enjoyed our meal. 5 people, 5 meals and 5 drinks for under £25! Visited 8/3/2019 again 5 of us. Staff were friendly and helpful however I must say food was disappointing, I sent my chicken Kiev back was so over cooked I struggled to cut it . Staff was apologetic and offered me a free coffee. When I received my food the second time everyone else had finished eating : unfortunately we didn't enjoy our food so it's unlikely we will be returning anytime soon : Early chrismas dinner ... 15 November , our Friday group booked for Xmas lunch 6 in total we all dined on 3 courses and finished with mince pie and coffee. Costing £10.99 per head ! Amazing value. We had 5 prawn cocktail and 1 tomato and basil soup. 6 Turkey dinner. 2 Xmas pud, 2 cheese and biscuits 1 cookie profiteroles and 1 plum and Apple pie then coffee and mince pies, everybody enjoyed the food the portions were ample and we all left stuffed ! The table was set lovely ready for our arrival crackers and Christmas hats, staff very friendly and helpful and table service was provided with drinks. CHRISTMAS LUNCH FOR FIVE .... 8 DEC 2021 We were met with a warm welcome from Samantha and Michelle and well looked after through our whole meal at Yates. The table looked lovely. The food was fresh, hot and plentiful and the atmosphere was good. A big thank you to Samantha and Michelle : Merry Christmas Ladies.
I was really surprised at how good the food and service was here. Value for money its probably hard to beat. Only let down we're the toilets which show signs of their evening clientèle. Went as a group for lunch and they didn't mind us rearranging the tables, in fact offered to sort them out for us on our next visit. Would recommend for lunch.
I've been coming here to eat regulalry these past few months, as I find the food extremely good value for money, well presented, but most importantly, delicious. I particularly enjoy the Sunday Roasts The staff all have a positive, and friendly attitude, and I'm always greeted with a smile by them. Kurtis, Kerry, Clare, and Terri, to name but a few, all deserve more than 5 stars. Well done you all.
Well, as a lawyer on a peaceful night out i was disgusted to see that the door staff were not in compliance with the one way system yet were dictating to people they had to go in one door and out the other.. Reminder door staff and bar staff are public servants you are not police constables! You have no rights or privileges at all! The way things are going here there will be massive claims made for assault as everyone who tried to exit for a cigarette was assaulted. Just simply touching someone else without lawful reason is assault.
The place itself is fine but the customers let it down. Multiple times my friends and I had our drinks stolen from the table we were stood behind. Thankfully the staff are pleasant, which is fortunate as people will literally pick your drink up and walk away. Open until the early hours so gets busy
First visit and not the last! Good selection of beers Plenty of seating and a good atmosphere.
