King's Head

About

A quirky real ale pub situated on Huddersfield railway station, a popular live music venue.

Story

We sell 10 real ales, 4 permanent and 6 guests, 2 real ciders and the usual range of lagers, bottle beers and spirits. Sunday afternoon bands range from rock covers to rock n'roll and some blues, we also have a blues night on the last Thursday of the month. We are currently undergoing renovation work to bring the building back to its original Victorian glory. We do not sell food at the moment but hope to once the works are complete.

Always spot-on. Excellent ales and visually stunning, an excellent pub. Never had a bad pint here, lots of choice and regularly changing ales you're sure to find something you'll love. Bar staff and landlord always very friendly. Highly recommend for any lover of pubba.
In these difficult Covid times the Kings Head are offering a superb service with great beers. Very efficient and friendly staff.
Lovely building, beer was great and staff were friendly, shame about the public library feel but can't be helped in these times, just used to this place jumping.
Large room with high ceiling is this former station waiting room. Excellent range of beers at keen prices. E.g. Ringmaster £2.70. Bands on a Sunday from 3.30pm. It gets loud! Great staff and friendly atmosphere.
The beer and service is great. Lovely space with high ceiling, but the bright lighting stops it feeling cosy.
Nice pub very nice staff . And most of all great beer . What more could you want .
Always a pleasure visiting The Kings Head, staff pleasant and helpful and a good selection of Real Ales. Excellent service
Served only at tables but constantly asking if we need more drinks great service
One of the best pubs in a Town, for a quiet safe drink.
