Nice train station, with clean toilets. It takes contactless if you take Elizabeth line. Do not buy coffee from the kiosk on platform 5 at any cost.nnThere are plenty of taxies waiting at the station on the weekend normal weekend, not term time or holiday if you want to take a cab to Lego land. However, we took Uber and it costed me around £15, it should be similar if you use the taxi there.
Good railway station.nThere are some cafes, waiting rooms, and public toilets there.nWe went through the wrong exit, and asked a staff for help, and he said we could enter then exit to the other gate by asking to his colleagues at the gates so that we didn't need to tap in/out again.nAnd they all helped us nicely.nThank you for the help, and good service.
Good station, quite near the town centre too. Frequent trains into London including the new Elizabeth line trains. Also a regular shuttle service into Central Windsor for the town and attractions. Would be nice if they had some seating available for people waiting on the platform for the Windsor trains... Not one single seat!
This is the only station that connects to Windsor & Eton Central railway station, so you will go through here if you are going to Windsor by rail. It's a decent 5-platform station with decently cute architectural trims. Platforms are step-free accessible and there are free customer toilets. Staff are friendly and helpful. The station is more sheltered and comfortable than the average UK station. The station is close enough to London that it is really busy. If going to Windsor, I recommend travelling early and on a week day to avoid a really busy platform. The fast GWR trains that don't stop are pretty crazy
Told the girl behind the glass my over 65 rail card had expired and she said to you want to renew it now. I said please and within 2 minutes it was done. Fair enough here and she was called Mona. Brilliant service
