The train I planned to take to Bath Spa was cancelled. No reasons or apologies, but I was late for a meeting in Bath. If I had known I would have driven, which I will do in future. Staff only helped with alternative advice when pushed. Seems like other faulty situations with help points. British public transport in general sucks in spite of it's very high price.
Lift from platform to exit out of order. Good luck if you have heavy suitcases because steep steps down to exit and no-one to assist. Seemingly non existent parking for anyone to pick up or drop off. Impossible to make contact over the phone with anyone who can understand let alone speak English.
Not enough parking.nBicycle rack is open at all hours and is full of parts of bicycles, the camera above does nothing to deter thieves.nTrains are always 5-15 mins late every single morning.
After a disaster with the trains today the only way we could get to London was travel via burnham, haven't used burnham station for years and never used to car park apon arrival we tried downloading the app wouldn't work, other train staion we have used you can normally pay at the machine, we went to purchase our tickets and my husband spotted 2 workers and asked if they could show us what to do and the rude blonde hair woman who wheres glasses said 3 times like my husband was a idiot that it got nothing to do with us all he asked was how do we pay as the app wasn't working she said go look at the sign once the fact she said this with attitude and so everyone there could help is disgraceful I purchased our ticket we worked this eventually which resulted in us missing our train, when she could have said appoigies you can't pay on the machine and said here are some options, when we came back her and another member of staff was standing around comparing stuff on there phones, don't where a happy to help Jacket if you don't want to help customers, I feel sorry for anyone who is older then myself and doesn't understand technology because they will definitely not get any help with there attitude
Train come very timely. It’s very easy to buy train tickets from the tickets vending machine.
