The governments renationalisation bill can't come sooner. This line is truly awful. Unreliable, terrible communication skills, and the sooner you lot are renationalised the better.
This is an amazing station with railtours and frequent services!
High Wycombe City is a vibrant and bustling hub that always seems to be teeming with energy. As soon as I arrived in the city, I was struck by its unique blend of modernity and history. The old and the new intertwine seamlessly in this city, creating a unique atmosphere that's hard to find anywhere else.nnOne of the things that immediately caught my attention was the impressive array of shops and restaurants in the city center. From trendy boutiques to cozy cafes, High Wycombe City has something for everyone. I spent hours browsing through the shops, picking up souvenirs and unique finds that I knew I couldn't get anywhere else.nnThe city is also home to some incredible historical landmarks, such as the Guildhall and the Hellfire Caves. Visiting these sites gave me a glimpse into the city's fascinating past and added a layer of depth to my overall experience. The architecture throughout the city is simply stunning, with intricate details and grand facades that speak to the city's rich history.nnOne of my favorite parts of the city was the river that winds its way through the center. It's a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or a picnic with friends. Watching the boats float by and taking in the serene atmosphere was a highlight of my visit.nnOverall, I was thoroughly impressed with High Wycombe City. Its unique blend of old and new, vibrant energy, and rich history make it a must-visit destination for anyone traveling in the area.
The station is clean and easy to access platforms. The station has two entrances, each with ticket counters, ticket machines and refreshments. Platforms 1 and 2 are on the southern town-centre side of the station. Platform 3 and the northern entrance Totteridge Road are linked to the rest of the station by a subway. Access to the platforms is through ticket barriers. Trains to London depart from platforms 1 and 3, and trains towards Bicester and Banbury from platform 2.
Great station with fast and frequent trains to London but also Aylesbury, Oxford, Banbury and Birmingham. Should be services to Milton Keynes in the not so distant future. The layout is quite awkward so be prepared to do some walking if you need to get from platforms 1 to 3, however there are lifts, toilets, coffee kiosks, waiting rooms etc. There's also a good bus service outside and a large car park. Also the whole station complex will be revitalised when the old engine shed next door is converted into an open space with cafe and more.
