My future brother-in-law suggested we check out Slater for our wedding suits. We visited the Slater store in Newcastle and found the perfect suits. We would like to thank the staff who assisted us in finding the right sizes. We had to return four days later for free alterations, and when we tried on the suits, they looked fantastic. Another staff member came to check on us since the woman who initially assisted us was helping other guests. When she returned, we told her everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place as the value for your money is excellent. They have suits for all occasions.
We called in to Slaters today for a black suit for my husband and were met by very happy welcoming staff. We were introduced to John who did an excellent job finding the right suit for my husband. The trousers needed to be slightly altered which is carried out for free, -amazing and we felt very confident with John's advice. We were well looked after and left very satisfied.
Holly was amazing today! She helped my partner find the perfect suit with all matching accessories. Great knowledge and recommendations we know nothing about suits!! so this really helped my partner find his perfect wedding day outfit! Thank you so much Holly your a credit to your company
What a lovely experience with Linda and the rest of the staff at Slater Menswear! We were walked through the entire process choosing two 3-piece suits with accompanying shirts and ties with friendly, professional expertise. We were also able to get the trousers hemmed by the time we were finished picking out shirts. Excellent service and some beautiful suits. Thank you Linda for your help!
We went here for our son's prom suit, he's quite tall and slim and the suit the lady chose was nice but had to be altered, the trousers were let down but are still too short I think the lady should have chose a longer length as she could see how tall he was, he's now having to wear a pair of high tops instead of shoes to try to cover the shortness and the shirt she gave us is small around the neck he can't fasten the top button the first shirt was ideal but she said the second one would be a better fit. Great shop and lovely staff just could have done with longer trousers.
Visited this morning for 3 suits; Father & brother of the Bride to be and Maid of honours boyfriend. We were a bit overawed by the size of the store and a bit unsure where to start. Along came Linda who was wonderful. My son is Autistic and she quickly picked up on it, was really attentive to him and the whole party. She also chose 3 ties and arranged alterations. Reasonably priced and a great selection. 3 happy customers and their female assistants. Thank you Linda
One of my friends suggested that I try Slaters for my graduation outfit and I am glad to have listened to him!! I walked in the store with next to nothing idea about the suit and it was hands down one of the best experience I have had with customer service. Linda, you are a superstar!! She listened to me, asked for my preferences, budget and then pulled out pieces for me. No forcing to buy something expensive just for the sake of sale. Two more staff helped me with the suit and they were wonderful too. The suits fit perfectly and I'm very happy with the whole conversation and experience.
Excellent choice of suits, it goes on for miles. And the staff are nothing short of excellent, very helpful and were very quick to help me through the entire process of getting measured and finding a good suit for my graduation. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a suit.
Visited the store on 30/6/24 to buy an outfit for my son’s upcoming prom. Lauren was extremely helpful, ensuring not only the best fit for all items, but also suggesting other ideas in respect of putting together the outfit. Five star service from her! Thank you!
Visited the Newcastle store today with my wife to look at the suits. I was meet by an assistant called Jack and he helped me with choosing 2 suits. The customer service was tremendous.
