I was after a local firm to help with an RTA. Instead I appear to have gotten through to a call centre in India. After 10 minutes of spelling out my name and address and other details, I gave up. I will go elsewhere. If you are in Liverpool with an 0151 number, surely you can speak to someone who has half a clue. Glad I dodged this one as I've only just experienced all the call centre fun of talking to India and South Africa with Admiral Car Insurance!!!

From the moment we chose Slater and Gordon Lawyers each and every step of the way has been clearly explained and not a single time did I struggle to make contact with my case handler. I would 100% recommend Slater and Gordon a thousand times over, they have gone above and beyond resulting in a excellent result. I have been able to query any concerns/questions I've had, while also being suggested different options with a great deal of advice to help along the way. All in all, I am more than happy that I chose Slator and Gordon to handle my personal injury claim. 11/10
Used Slater and Gordon in 2017 for a no win no fee claim for an accident I had in a shop, it was a positive experience. However more recently my father had a negative experience with the Mercedes claims team. I recommended them to him so it was a bit disappointing to hear that the communication was so poor, there isn’t anyone you can speak to directly on the phone, he had trouble with the online portal. So we contacted the customer service team and asked them to remove him from their mailing list and he no longer wanted them to act for him. Some time later he kept getting communication from them. I then contacted client care, someone called Lee Jones was great from start to finish. He was understanding and reassured me he would contact someone to look into this, he kept in touch with me via email, he really took all the stress away. Then someone called Emma Schumacher from a team called Collective Actions finally contacted me reassuring me that no further action is needed and my father would be removed from all communications and actions for this matter. If it was not for them I would have given Slater and Gordon 0 stars for this recent experience. I have seen that it may just be flaws in one area of their teams rather than the whole company.

Absolutely disgusting. Wasted a month and a half waiting for specialists to phone me. Every time I rang was told I would be contacted as a matter of urgency never happened. I discontinued an ombudsman claim expecting slater and gordons advice. Every time I contacted them I was given a different excuse from they had messaged me,they hadn't, or they had a backlog. Please just tell people you cannot help them instead of stringing them along and wasting their time. To top it off when I called today I was accused of being rude and told call would be discontinued. I advised her the call was being recorded and I was not being rude. Then I asked to make a formal complaint. I was given no complaint reference just put through to customer care which was closed. Please regard this as a formal complaint.
*** DO NOT USE THESE AT ALL *** I was in car car accident August 2022 and my insurance went through slater and gordon and all I can say is it was the worst experience of my life communication is 0 they never contact you if you need to find anything out you have to call them. So roughly 8 months they delt with it only to be told they are closing down the small claims department so now I have had to do the full process again I might as well have had paul and Barry chuckle handling my case useless

Absolute disgusting service. My daughter was in a RTA in 2020 when she was one. Liability was admitted straight away and she has had two appointments since in 2021. I am still yet to hear of any update. I have emailed two case handlers numerous of times which I have now had emails back telling me they no longer work for the company. I have seeked further legal advice and it sounds like this company is known for this nonsense. Would advise everyone to stay away!

RTA last May and had a medical last June, didn't get the report until September and it had incorrect details. Took a while to get a new updated report and then months to have another appointment. This was done in March, still waiting for the report through. Latest update 'we have your report but don't know when you will get it'. It has caused a higher insurance for myself when I renewed due to having an ongoing claim open. Now apparently the claim has been passed to another solicitors but I've heard nothing from them and we were given the deadline of mid May. The other party admitted fault last summer, I'm not sure why this is taking so long to settle.
