A decent sized car park, well situated right at the top of the high street. A pop and shop rate of 40p for up to half an hour is also a genuinely useful addition to the pricing structure here, and something you don't see nearly as often as I would like. Much of the parking area is on a slight gradient that mobility impaired users would need to be mindful of.
Not cheap for sure and the spaces are narrower than most carparks I've ever visited. But it's a busy market town with lots of visitors and they're making as many spaces as possible. On the plus side it is an ideal spot to park up and spend time in Skipton, very short walk to the main streets and shops. Handy toilets by the entrance as well as food options! Cost and narrow spaces lose it some points
It's very good price to park there £3.50 for 3hrs and its going up 15% Skipton is very nice place to shop and plenty of cafes and pubs to eat
Very convenient large car park just off the Main Street and near the castle.
Large good car park plenty spaces busy on market days tight entrance especially for buses easy access town centre
