Follow the iconic story of Treasure Island throughout our fabulously themed award winning attraction. Be entertained by our daily interactive talks located at our Aqua theatre and get up close and personal with our touch pool sessions at our Wet Lab. Enjoy free face painting and arts and crafts in our Pirate School in the Stockades and wander through the sea caves to discover exotic and nocturnal sea life and explore Long John Silver’s cabin learning fun facts about creepy crawlies he encountered along the way. Walk beneath the treasures of the ocean through Davy Jones’ Locker and treat yourself to lunch in our delicious Bistro looking out over some spectacular sea views whilst your children (12 and under) let off steam in our impressive coral cove indoor soft play area. We are also proud to be one of the only three aquariums in UK that offer a ‘dive with sharks’ experience discovering the magic that happens beneath the ocean (additional costs apply). A brilliant place to visit, staff are very good with young & old alike. Always have time to talk to visitors. We’ve visited with a 6 yr old a few times & staff have been really kind, patient & had time to explain everything. It’s somewhere that’s excellent for children & adults. A fine cafe & play area, a good place to spend a day.

Great little public aquarium, small but packed with display tanks, all of which are clean and colourful. The variety of fish and inverts is very good. There is a large tank with sharks, rays and a wide selection of smaller fish. The staff are friendly, and the talks are good, as they are very interactive and packed with information. Overall, this is well worth travelling for! Great way to kill a couple of hours. P.S. Many reviews slaughter the cafe, but it's excellent. I had a slice of Jaffa cake, which tasted AMAZING!!!

I paid twenty pounds for me and my boyfriend to enter, we were then told to wait until there was a big enough group to enter. Once we'd waited long enough we were forced to sit through a pirate themed video aimed at kids and weren't allowed to move on until it had finished. The exhibits were poor at best, the octopuses that were advertised turned out to be a small tank with one octopus, and the sharks turned out to be a few feet long at most, the biggest fish they had was an eel, and the tropical fish they had were the kind usually found in home aquariums, including mine. We spent around twenty minutes in there and couldn't believe it when we found out we'd finished it. One of only two large tanks was in a small room meaning it was too full for us to even see most of the tank when we got there and there was very loud audio which was extremely bad quality, tinny and hurt to listen to.

Kids had great fun scanning they're picture for the virtual fish tank. The talk about the fish when the divers were in the tank feeding them was very informative but the best part was the bottom of the sea using the overhead projector
