Terrifying experience. The windscreen and mirrors weren't very clean- when I was on the motorway and attempted to clean the windscreen- the washing solution did not spray. There was solution in the system and the wipers were working. This was a serious defect to have on a car I was driving at night with. The friendliness was good of the staff however when returning the car I could have received better closure. I decided to stick around to have the car checked in though it didn't seem like this was the process as I could have just walked away. I tried to feed back about the condition of the car but it didn't seem to be given much attention- which is why I am posting this publicly so people are aware of the car condition they may receive. I think I'll stick to Enterprise going forward as the condition and cleanliness of their vehicles is reliable and their processes are reassuring such as confirmation the deposit return has been initiated.
We had good experience renting a car twice with Sixt. Received great customer service and actually enjoyed the process because of the friendly manager. Had a small problem one of the headlights wasn’t working the last time we rented,so the car was changed quickly
Not Happy with the whole process at SIXT Birmingham City Centre. I pre booked Van Hire for 11.30am for the special 5 hour price. I arrived 45 mins prior but due to issues with the Vans the start time.was delayed by 30mins. This after the first Van had loads of paint scratches damage and marks which were not recorded on SiXT database.Then after I requested a another Van and further waiting time I was given a van that was not clean and had builder cement waste and debris still in Van loading area and front driving areas. I accepted the Van as I need to get to my destination asap but I was late leaving and then i noted fuel tank was not full with 3/4 tank.. Again SiXT had not recorded the fuel on their records and prior but luckily I noticed before driving off. I was told I should just return the van with same fuel level and I on my return even added additional fuel a further tick up on the gauge but following day SIXT charged my card for not returning a full tank. The whole experience was very stressful, and I would not be happy to hire again.
Usually a good service but had a bad experience with this relatively new employee Maria who prolonged my pick up forcing me to have to cancel my appointment in Manchester that morning. Terrible service, lied and gave me a dangerous car! Booked a luxury SUV and got given an old a4 avant with a rattling sound, broken passenger door and alloys that have chunks missing! She was constantly trying to up-sell me when there was 3 disgruntled customers behind waiting to extend and take out cars! I’m not the type to write bad reviews but this was super necessary.
The vehicle i received was in terrible condition given that it was only a year old. The van service light & brake wear light were both flashing on the dashboard, the indicator on the drivers side mirror was broken & not working, it had dents and broken body panels and the inside was not clean at all. I questioned this with one the guys working there and he told me that no other van was available. He said it was still in road worthy condition. I had to make use of the van given that I needed it for a local house removal booked weeks ago.
I would give zero star if I have this option. Awful service from Arsim may be spelled wrong. Reserved a vehicle online and got nothing on the appointment day. Arsim keep blaming us that we should not book a car in the morning. Yes, they failed meet their duty but BLAME their customers!! Ridiculous attitude with no manner. DON’T choose them if you wanna have a happy vacation ————————————— Update on Feb 18, 2023 Sent email to the address provided by the owner below. No reply even after one and half months. Don’t be tricked by their “good attitude” in google review. What they are trying to do is to build a good imageattract the innocent customerand ruin your holiday!
''Stay away from this company'' Paid the required sum to rent a car in Birmingham city center. On my arrival to Birmingham, there was a lady working there called Maria, BIG problem before us with some people after a long time waiting we have a problem with communication with her. After this lady said we don't have this car you need. I already booked that van and she said we don't have it. After a long time, one more guy from the company came to fix the problem. After everything solve Maria took me to the van. The van was okay but the problem was the fuel. The fuel was not full so when we report this to Maria, she said it will be okay don't worry go. She was begging to make good feedback for her all the time. The van was delivered on time and the next two days receiving my half money back. I still don't know why. Call the company. Try to solve the solution but the company told me there is no reservation on that day. How is that impossible? It means that Maria booked the van for me and gave me the keys without an invoice and without any evidence of renting a car so I cant prove anything to take my money back. The outcome stays away from such a doggy company.
Very nice and competent contact person, tries very hard to organize everything to the satisfaction of the customer! Very friendly communication from Maria. Azim is an asset to the company. He was very patient as i looked at different options and also showed me cars available in person. I was not rushed and was given the best deal. Was guided step by step to book online. Felt very welcomed and would be using again for future rentals. Customer service was impeccable.
Car had lots of bodywork damage on collection and no existing damage report provided. Existing damage tried to be blamed on and charged to me.
The service was good, they offered an alternative to my problem due to inactive card was used during booking 2 years ago. However, the refund process took forever. I have requested for refund since July 2022. Many times reported have been done in apps, received the same answer, the refund process will start soon and take at least 7-10 business days. Yet, not refund receive until today. Please help me to process my refund request as soon as possible.
