Service was perfect. Susan was really helpful and went on the extra mile to get us the mini clubman and we were so lucky to get this car as we were driving up and all over Scotland and through the storm Diana, needed a good car to stay on track and close to the road! The mini clubman has served us well!
Rahul was incredibly friendly and efficient. He kindly let us check out with the car a couple of hours early, as our plans had changed slightly. This was very helpful and we had a very pleasant experience renting from Sixt!
Once again another successful car hire the fact that I got the same excellent customer service at Glasgow and Epsom is a credit to the brand I am not one for driving the top end of the car range but I have not been disappointed with the other end of the range so Sixt covers both ends of the spectrum with basic or top of the range.
Really reasonable deposit for the car, got me booked and on the road after a disaster with another company. 23 age limit, foreign driver license allowed. Clearly explained all the rules, no hidden fees. Gorgeous car!
Customer service comes last - upselling is the number one priority. Good luck even calling the branch with a question - you literally need to walk into the office physically. Even then they may not be open at the times promised even if they specifically said they would.
In general the service is good, but the parking is awful, as there is no lift to the lower grounds, where Sixt's parking is located. You need to lug your suitcases by yourself, or load your luggage at the exit right after the barrier, while blocking all traffic.
Great choice! Thirty minutes from making the booking to picking up the car. We were even given a free upgrade to an SUV with only 2000 miles on the clock when we said we planned to go to the highlands and were worried about the weather. Easy pickup and dropoff, all round very happy.
