My experience with sixt has been great. the car pick up and drop off was very easy and convenient.  The car was full on fuel and everything was quick at the reception.  There was a bit misunderstanding at the return time logged by the employee at the airport but it got fixed by talking to the customer care.  I loved every part of SIXT car hire, from using their web app, app to picking the car up and returning it.  Suggest drivers to always take additional protection so that you don't have to think about any problems.

Smooth hiring process. Mr. Stuart explained T&C's well and also gave me very good upgrade from my original booking. Car was clean and had very less mileage. Easy return experience as well.

I am in continuous professional car hire for the past 6 years, 1.5 of them being with Sixt and the last year with this branch.  During this duration I had to swap cars, lots of times I was being called to drop in and when I was arriving there was no car available, wasting 1,5 hour of my time. Some of the cars had issues like bad alignment, tyres worn below the legal limit leading to hydroplaning even melted food leftovers in the door-bin. A mistake by Sixt resulted in the termination of my subscription recently. The branch manager informed me that is impossible to renew and was asking me - the client - to update him on the status of my account, imagine that. What seemed impossible was sorted in an hour by the customer service in Germany thankfully.  Although, I can understand that mistakes will occur as part of daily business. How are remediated defines the professionals. Until now, unfortunately no action has been taken by the branch, plaguily ignoring my requests.  This review applies to this specific branch as I received exceptional service from other branches in the EU and UK.

I had a pleasant experience renting a car for the first time abroad. Professional, attentive, honest, and helpful team members. The car was received clean and well preserved, being only 6 months. I want to thank the person who was responsible of handling our car collection process on Nov 14, 2022 at 12:30 pm. I want to also thank Norman for being super nice and lovely during the car return process.

1. we booked Skoda Karoq but when we arrived the staff gave us Toyota. In my aspect, I think toyota is not a similar level with Skoda. Therefore we told the staff but he just said "I think toyota is better than Skoda" as a replied. 2. And another issue come, the toyota is a Plug-in version. As a tourism , We don't know how to charge our car and the staff doesn't tell us either. So we rent the car without charging for almost 6 days. If you know a little bit about the cars you will know that Plug-in car without charging it will become gas guzzler.  All in all, this time was a bad experience of renting the car.

We hired a car from Sixt at Glasgow airport and had a great experience. The car rental was fairly priced. The car itself was clean, the whole process from start to finish was very smooth. Kai was extremely helpful and friendly at both collection and drop off, thank you to him. Thanks again

The car was great and in excellent condition. That said, we had to wait almost an hour to pick up as the system at the airport was "down". It took the service team a while to determine that they could complete the handover using one of the other available computers at the service center. No big deal, really, but when we returned the vehicle, in excellent condition, we received an email shortly thereafter indicating damage a large scratch on the door. We did not see this scratch when we returned the vehicle and there was no one to do a joint walkthrough with as our flight was early 6am. I am confident that the scratch was not present at the time of drop-off. Assuming this issue is resolved professionally, I will adjust this review.  Update: the claim was dropped. It took over a month and more than a few phone calls/emails, but I’m happy they didn’t force me to pay for damage I’m confident I didn’t cause. 2 -&gt; 4 stars

Outstanding service EVERY time I have had the pleasure to use Sixt. Excellent value for money. Staff are fantastic and go way above and beyond what was expected. Highly recommended. I may add, this was the same experience at Edinburgh Airport.

Nice relaxed atmosphere! Vehicle as described.  Employees friendly and courteous   Had to abandon car in locked parking garage. Employee on phone helped with process once we reached the airport.  To date no added charges, equals great customer service.  Will rent from SixT again

Served by Kai Cairns and his team at Glasgow Airport to absolute perfection. Issues with Alamo competitor led us to ask for an offer by SIXT and they happily provided us with a better offer at an equal price and were friendly and competent throughout the entire encounter. Handing in the car with full insurance coverage made the dropoff easy, as we only had to hand over the keys and were already free to leave with no further administrative tasks needed. Would highly recommend to stick with SIXT's service over competition at Glasgow Airport
