Absoluty appalling! If I could give minus stars I would. Bar staff did absolutely nothing when one man began to start a fight with my boyfriend for saying hello to an old friend, instead they were more interest in watching it escalate. Before we knew it we had about 6 men round our table throwing out drinks left right and centre, still no sign of staff stepping in. I had to shout across the pub for assistance yet they still didn't really do much. I had had enough by this point and got up to leave, as I passed the group of men they all decided to throw their drinks over me and one man hit me in the mouth with his glass...bar staff...just stood there! Compleatly unacceptable, as a 20 year old girl having 6 fully grown men some at least 40 behaving like that and bar staff doing absolutely nothing to help is a joke. WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!!!!
Food does not look like the photos, but I've since it opened in the 90's it's always been good value and it's busier and cheaper and cheaper than it's rival 50 yard's across the road so why are they closing it. Because those numpty accountants have decided it's not making making enough money.?.. Doh!!!!!
Toast and egg was cold when food arrived and rest of food was lukewarm. Took them a while to refill the coffee flask for the unlimited coffee.
Good food visiting the area and was recommended will use again when in the area quick service which is handy when.your hungry very pleasant experience
Pleasant staff and nice drink selection. Unfortunately a bit dirty and no smoking garden.
Great place to drink you are a skint student or just want a cheap drink out, they offer a good selection of drinks and you get what you pay for with the food
One star for beer price. The craggy shells which haunt this place originally came from JeremyKyle Island. With barnacle grip they remain, only venturing into the world once a fortnight to leech cash from society.
Great place to meet your friends in town and enjoy a cheap drink. No music though and attracts day time drinkers
Now closed! Was fine for food and beer etc but at night it was a bit dull, especially with the Three Fishes over the road.
Great food , nice staff , good prices
