Story

Simpsons was founded back in 1961 by Mr Simon Woodgreaves, the first main site for Simpsons was the current site of the Robinsons Group in Cooke Road, Lowestoft.

It was a brand new custom made showroom for the car franchise Volkswagen. In 1969, Simon and his business partner started to sell the VW campers that are so iconic and fondly remembered today.

In 1986 the business moved to Suffolk Road which we still are based. Today we are a Skoda dealership as well as having a wide variety of new and pre-loved motorhomes. In 2011 Simpsons celebrated 50 years of trading with a fantastic celebration.

Our site is constantly evolving and expanding to move with the demands of the industry, so we expect to be here for another 50 years!

We are East Anglia’s largest motorhome dealer and a major stockist of all leading converters’.
