Dear Steven I just want to say a huge"thank you" to you and the team for the way you marketed and sold my house. It was a complicated sale and at times I felt like giving up. However, you persevered, liaised not only with my purchasers and the people I was buying from but with the whole chain- eight in total- to ensure it did eventually happen. Your experience, determination to do your best for me and my family, kindness and enthusiasm made a stressful situation bearable! I was impressed also with the fact that you give your time freely to ensure the sale went through and you are definitely not a 9-5 operation unlike other estate agents I have used in the past. You were only too happy to answer a query at 9pm at night or 7.30 in the morning. That fitted in beautifully with my hectic work schedule. Thanks to you, we are now happy and settled in our new home. Having recently purchased our new home through Simply Homes I cannot speak highly enough of the service provided by Steven and his team. Unlike many agents who lose interest once a sale is agreed, Steven was always prepared to go the extra mile to overcome problems and get the deal over the line. From viewing to completion the service was courteous and attentive, and I have no hesitation in recommending Simply Homes whether buying or selling.

Ben at Simply Homes was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He gave helpful advice and always kept me up to date. Thanks for helping me purchase my first house, I will definitely be using Ben to sell at some point In the future.

After originally listing our house with another agent, we turned to Steven and his team with the hope of a more proactive approach. This is exactly what we received! Unlike our previous agent, who seemed to adopt the 'let the buyer come to us' attitude, Steven focused on some old-fashioned estate agency ... identifying the market, targeting likely clients and then presenting the property and the opportunity it affords accurately and effectively. The result was that a property that had sat on the market for eight weeks, and four without a viewing, was then sold in just two weeks by SimplyHomes! We couldn't be happier with the service Steven and his team provided. Always professional, courteous and effective. I couldn't recommend SimplyHomes highly enough.

We had a multiple viewing on a Saturday, 15 mins each ,and was told offers had to be in by the following Monday. Late morning on Monday i telephoned the office and enquired if there had been any other offers and was told only one. I asked how we would proceed and told by the sales person that I did not to get into a bidding war situation. I was assured that was not how we operate , each of you will be given an opportunity to bid twice and the final bid will be final and have to be in by 16.00 on that day (Mon). I was told that my second bid was the highest and the deadline past. The following day I telephone to ask for a longer viewing and if possible could we go back later that day. Later that morning (Tuesday) I got a telephone call from the Sales person informing me that a higher bid had come in that morning. I said how could a higher bid come through when the deadline closed yesterday at 16.00. She said I am under instruction from my boss (Ben Shaw) to ask you if you want to increase your offer. I said this is a bidding war which you assured me you did not operate this type of negotiation. Needless to say I did not increase my second and final offer and I will not do busines with this company in the future.
