The lengths my parter had to go to to get his security deposit back by this firm was ridiculous.
After he had a professional clean on a well looked after flat, an inspection by Joanne at Anthony lettings went to extreme and unfair detail to try and retain our deposit (examples being 1.5cm manufacturing string on tap from when we move in, smear on sink where it had been cleaned and faint smudge on the wall, ‘light dust’ to extractor fan- they inspected 4 days after the keys were handed in!). He had even painted over the mould growing from the horrendous windows prior to handing in the keys to try and do a decent job of handing over the property he had looked after. My partner complained on numerous occasions throughout his tenancy about the state of the windows not being fit for purpose (electric was between £5-£6 per day for a 1 bed flat as draft they were so old and weren’t sealed).
The main frustration is this report landed via email at 17:55. With no courtesy call and the office shutting at 6pm this meant a terrible nights sleep until we could address this the following morning. 
We had 2 days to resolve these issues so I had to arrange time out of work last minute and get the cleaner back. He cleans end of tenancy properties all the time and couldn’t believe the lengths we were having to go to. I think it comes down to the fact we didn’t use their recommended cleaner (who was fully booked) so they were looking to recoup the costs.
We ended up having to pay for a freezer drawer that had a fine crack on it. The ‘Wear and tear’ terminology seems to be thrown around a lot but no one is ever actually told what this consists of specifically. 
The flat is now also letting out for £75 less pcm. We are told this is because you pay a premium for a newly fitted property, which I appreciate but the way we had to hand this back was no different to being new.
Very disappointed with service received and relieved we are out of the tenancy now.
