Hi I just want everyones opinion. I went to have my hair done in Lichfield at Silks's It was a dry cut. When i got home i felt he hadn't done what i asked for. I rang the gentleman who did my hair and told him i wasn't satisfied, so he asked me to come in again and he will fix it to exactly how I wanted it. I was happy with the cut from the front, may I add on both occasions I was not shown the back of my hair with a mirror. I then went to meet friends and they were shocked with my hair, the gentleman had hacked chunks at the back and it was all uneven. I did ask him to thin it out alot more on one side as its very thick in that area and he agreed. Instead of thinning it out he took chunks out ! I rang the gentleman again and asked for a refund he refused to give me refund and he offered to fix it again I explained he had already had two goes at it and wasnt prepared for him to mess up again and he became quite arrogant. Now i had just give up at this point as I am disabled, mostly in a wheelchair and on crutches and I live just out side lichfield. I can no longer drive and rely on friends to take me to appointment etc... I explained this to the gentleman, he knows I am disabled because we had a chat about it and I had arrived in a wheelchair and my daughter of 14 helped me get into the hairdressers because there was know wheelchair access and was up a few steps There are some pics but my camera wont show the chunks at the back I feel this has not been handled in the correct manner and feel I should just be given the refund. What are your thoughts ?? Plz share !

I am very new to Silks, having only been twice now but I have to say that I am over the moon with my hair! Nicola Price has cut and coloured my hair and I would recommend her to anyone - not only is the salon beautifully clean and stylish, Nicola truly listened to what I wanted and gave me lots of advice about what would be best for me and the results are fantastic! Very happy customer, thank you so much, see you in the New Year!

Possibly the longest established hair salon in Lichfield. Run by John and son Oliver who create a friendly environment in which to have have your hair styled. I've used this establishment for about 10 years and have had exemplary service throughout.
Have been getting my hair done here for a while and love it. The team always does a great job. Going back for a balayage soon.
As I'm out on the road all the time it's not always possible for me to get back to LICHFIELD but Oliver seems to squeeze me in somewhere so I can have my haircut how I like it !
I have always loved having my hair done at silks-lovely salon and lovely staff. Always feel pampered.
