The worst doctor surgery. Receptionist not all but 90% of them are rude and genuinely think they are doctors. 46 times I called before being put through into a waiting queue. 21 minutes later still not spoke to anyone. It’s the most pointless doctors surgery. If you don’t get the daily text of having no doctors available you sit in a queue for half an hour to still get no appointments. I think it’s fair to say you clearly need to have a process in place as this is ridiculous. You have a duty of care to the public and none of us are receiving it via this doctors surgery. I would avoid at all costs!!! If you care about your health then most definitely look at other surgery’s.
Doctors and nurses are brilliant once you finally get an appointment to see them. Reception is horrendous. Been trying to get through all day but been between 12th and 17th in the queue each time. Called at 5.20pm and was 4th in the queue, 2nd by 5.35pm. Continued being 2nd right up until they closed at 6pm. Absolute joke.
I have been a patient here since I was a child. It has gotten worse over the years. I think this is due to the receptionists. I have been without my medication for 2 weeks due to being messed around by them. They are very incapable of doing their jobs. Very rude, also. This comes to their phone manors as well. Been on hold for 30min to be told I'm 1st In the queue and then getting hung up on! Sick of it.
I called today for 2 hours and waited in line on the phone. the queue was getting shorter. within 1 hour I was 11th in the queue instead of 19th. Then I went to the GP because unfortunately my phone was still hanging and I couldn't contact him. When I got there, it turned out that the GP was closed. I and many of the people at the door were disgusted. why weren't the phones switched off if the clinic was closed. why doesn't anyone take people's opinions into consideration, why doesn't anyone take things seriously and clean up this building?
I was with this practice for 4 years. I have just moved out of their catchment area. I can only hope my new practice is as good.nnPeople need to understand that the reception staff get a lot of undeserved abuse. Give them a bloody chance and you'll be well treated. Whenever I've called the reception they have been exceptionally helpful, kind and understanding. They have a job, their job is to make sure you see the right person. I extend my thanks to the lovely and professional reception staff.nnI'd also like to extend a thanks to Lucy, the mental health nurse. A star who understands how mental health can affect someone.nnAnd to Dr John Burns. Thank you for your excellent and professional help. I cannot express my thanks enough.
