I recently visited Nuffield Health Edinburgh for my medical examination, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The clinic offers its own car park, which is a huge advantage in Edinburgh and made the visit much more convenient.nnAll the staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming, creating a calm atmosphere throughout the appointment. The entire process was smooth, well‑organised, and efficient, with no delays or issues at any stage. All examinations were completed in around 30 minutes, which was impressively quick without feeling rushed.nnOverall, a very positive experience — highly recommended for anyone needing an immigration medical exam.
From start to finish my experience at Nuffield Edinburgh Hospital was excellent, I could not ask for better. I am delighted with the result of the procedure I undertook there. From the amazing surgeon to the many nurses, everyone was kind and thoughtful. Would wholeheartedly recommend.
Nuffield Edinburgh Hospital - Appointment at agreed time. Greeted by nursing staff. Generally prepared for day procedure., which started maybe 15 - 20 minutes later. Very professional handling and operation went without a hitch. Small refreshments afterwards, with around 20 minutes recovery check before leaving. Op was prepaid and post procedure documents for me, my GP and post op precautions and I was on my way home. Great efficient and highly professional. Could not be better.
I attended an outpatient consultation with Dr Meg Das. The consultation was great. My scan results and implications of the results were clearly explained to me. I was given clear advice and directed to further information resources and support. Immediately before seeing Dr Das I was seen by Susan the opthalmic technician who carried out my tests . Susan was friendly and reassuring. I was kept informed every step of the process.nThe hospital was clean and all staff were friendly and welcoming.nThe finance team were very helpful and efficient when processing the payment.nWould definitely recommend.
Patient 2872096: I received a letter setting out admission requirements for a 7 July outpatient procedure which I followed to the letter and ended up with a full suitcase. The instructions were the same for patients getting a general anaesthetic, sedation or local anaesthetic and includedn- bringing all your prescribed medication and herbal supplementsn- toiletries, hairbrush, comb, shampoon- toothbrush and toothpasten- sanitary wear, nightwear, dressing gown, underwear, slippers or shoesn- mobility aidsnNone of the above was required for me on the day as a patient getting a local anaesthetic and I just took it away with me. However it took a while to put together and to unpack. Perhaps it would be better to separate requirements for those getting a general anaesthetic from the rest.nOther than that the care was excellent.
