Visited The Shropshire Community Health - Community Equipment Service for the first time on Wednesday 31 August 2022. We were collecting a piece of equipment for my wife who is recently out of hospital . The access to the service is NOT via the front door on Hortonwood 7 is at THE REAR. The access to the rear is by going down Hortonwood 8 and turning left into a large area / car park behind the units. Note UNIT D4 is for Collections and the nearer Unit D6 is for returns only. On entering through the metal door there is a large wooden counter and helpful staff working in the unit.
Got a large standing aid blocking area where I can get to learn to walk again cannot get collection date at all I told lady on phone it will need to be kept out side and would be damaged in this wet weather she got a bit nasty said do what you like, Now what is the saying when nocalling them,?,please e polite goes two ways, if you don't like the job go somewhere else
Serves the community well. Have used their facilities many times over the last 14 years. Good service and excellent staff.
Lady on phone was polite and said mum's bath raiser seat would be picked up in 2 months. Four months' later it's still waiting. It will end up going to the recycling centre. No wonder the NHS is losing money!
