Ordered large English breakfast just to try it out. No customers outside and only one inside at 930 am Sunday morning. Although it was typical and nothing noteworthy it still hit the spot. Two breakfasts and two coffees for 19 quid. View of the harbour, prompt wait staff. Not fine dining, the dining was fine.
Terrible! Avoid for food. Ordered from the main menu, both meals came and were cold in the middle.. it was clear nothing was homemade and all microwaved. The glasses were dirty and had lipstick stains on both! The atmosphere was very cold and unwelcoming. Although the food was reheated no effort was made to offer discount on the bill or an alternative choice. Very disappointing. Would not recommend at all!
We visited Torquay as it was my Birthday and popped in here for a spot of lunch. We ordered 2 Lasagnes which came with a side salad and garlic bread, we also ordered 1 side of chips. Well we thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely visit again.
What aload of rubbish, I ordered a chicken burger that didn't even cover half the bun it was served in! My husband ordered crab cakes, don't bother they're not fresh and we're over cooked. The kids meals were passable but then again they have no standards where food is concerned as they are foster kids who were starved previously...absolute s#%;e! Sorry lots of room for improvement here, go elsewhere!
Food was fab staff wasn't very pleasant we didn't feel very welcomed as soon as the food came out they started clearing around us and turning lights off its was 730pm on a Friday sunny evening I just got the impression that the staff working that shift wanted us gone as fast as possible as they had plans of there own. Lovely venue but want be returning. Very disappointed
Nice food and staff, good value and homemade
I have never witnessed such rudeness from a particular bar staff team member ever! She had no idea how to mix drinks, operate the till nor treat customers. She charged us well over the odds for our 2 drinks and when I confronted her she yelled at her collegue and asked for help. When her collegue tried to help her she yelled and snapped at her and verbally abused her and then started using foul language in front of me. The F WORD to be precise! She had a horrible attitude and possibly anger issues because of the way she conducted herself. Absolute horrible place and disgustingly over priced with really bad unfriendly staff..
I will not eat here again food took ages to come and not nice on arrival run out of most lathers and food so limited should of walked out or asked for money back
Food not the best, the Lasagna I had was Luke warm and my husband's meal, Cajun chicken was cremated. Wouldn't eat here again, intact we won't be back to Torquay again full stop. The place is a dive.
Food was terrible, too cold and just didn’t feel like eating it at the end it was that bad, staff are unwelcoming and lazy, the manager needs to sort it out
