great beer by the harbour, incredibly friendly staff and good solid pub food, you won't be disappointed
Service abysmal, waited 1hr 30 to get a table for food with no communication at all from the front of house. Had to chase them up loads of times and they didnt seems to be that bothered. Nice enough staff but compared to other local offerings not comparable. Main course of steak lovely but all else very average.
Friendly welcome and fast and friendly service at the table. Ordered drinks and food, served quickly. The fish was excellent, extremely tasty and large. Beer was excellent. Seated upstairs, lots of space. Toliets downstairs. Outdoor seating.
We had two meals in the shipwrights and they were first class both times, over the years I have been in the shipwrights many times and I can honestly say it's been A1 thanx to all staff and keep up the good work it's much appreciated.
Was easily able to get Gluten free version of Cod and chips, extremely enjoyable meal.
