Really nice pub close to a fantastic beach. The food is reasonable price, good quality made from local produce. The rooms are clean, well equipped but compact and the car park is free. We had no phone signal throughout our stay, but that’s not the Inn fault! Would give the Inn 5 stars but the water pressure in the shower is woeful and the room was a little cosy.
Pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here. We wanted some lunch to take with us down to the beach, and the Veggie Nachos they boxed up were outstanding! Whilst we waited at the bar we couldn't help but salivate when we saw the paella come out to tables too - will definitely be back to try that for myself!
Good food, friendly staff, drinks aren't too pricey. Child and dog friendly. Don't come here expecting a high street pub, but it isn't that - it's a beach pub and it does that well. Good curry on a Monday night.
Superb and friendly pub just away from the beach. Great baguettes and a decent pint. Parking is only for patrons so space is available in the car park even when the beach is busy. Great surf shop attached also sticking all you need for a great beach day.
The Harlyn Inn is in a great location near to Harlyn Beach and within easy reach of holiday parks and guest houses. It also has it's own accommodation, although I cannot comment on that because it is not where I stayed. The car park is a decent size and the inside of the bar/restaurant is not crowded, although I felt that it was a little tired and could do with a refit. That said, the service was good and the staff were friendly. The food was very reasonably priced and was of very good quality, tasty and served hot. Based especially on the food and service I would definitely go again.
Standard range of beers. Outside area overlooks the carpark, even though the place is practically on the beach! Inside is cafe like and toilets 2/5 thought great hand dryer shame about the rest of the facilities. I'm told the Ladies toilet is no better. It's the only pub in town so guess they haven't got to try too hard for customers.
Lovely meal never had beef chilly on top of chicken before but that was nice. The onion rings were hard and the so called home made coleslaw wasn't nice at all. Staff were friendly and helpful plus was my dog could come in the bar with us as we eat. Karaoke was very funny and entertaining. My daughter said her Pizza was as good as Pizza Hut.
Had a great time here a few Sundays ago when we happened across some live music in the afternoon - what a rowdy bunch but what an atmosphere! Fantastic. Pub's a bit sticky, but fine for a casual drink.
Been visiting this place for years since I was a kid and it's changed so much over the years. The pizza was amazing a few years ago but sadly not as good anymore. Only two veggie food options for dinner and a veggie breakfast option in the morning. I've never stayed at the accommodation upstairs but I've never heard good reviews. However it's in a perfect location which is probably why it does so well being next to the beach. There are two pool tables and also a darts board. Plenty of seating outside since it gets very busy peak times.
Come often for a Sunday carvery, always lovely food at good price. The interior is dated as are most pubs in Cornwall, especially on the coast so don't expect to be wowed when walking through the door. But you can throw a stone and hit the beach and lovely on a sunny day
