Whilst the station serves a small area, it still feels really bare and neglected. Outside of the peak hours, trains stop here hourly in both directions.nnNeither platforms have step free access, shelters are provided but the seats are very low down and there's only a single ticket machine. Car park is also full to the brim with very limited space.nnAdd the shoddy wood and concrete design and I'll definitely call this a bad station. At least buses to Southampton stop close by.

Possibly one of the best spots yet I've been to for filming, nice long open platforms and has a bit of history to it as well.

the trains are almost always late, the platform is tiny, and the ticket machine doesn't work half the time :/
