The practice doesn’t have time or professionalism to deal with new patients. They outright refuse to enrol new registration, don’t even have curtesy to be polite and offering any guidance. Focused on money making only. Avoid.
My wife and children have been patients for years, but I have been dental phobic for most of my adult life. A trip to pick up one of the kids had me booked in. John and Lucy have been very gentle. I only needed two fillings and some clean up work and I now have great teeth and have been taught how to look after them. Would recommend them to anyone that needs a friendly dentist.
I've been with this Dental Practice for many years and have found them to be extremely friendly and helpful, and very professional. I would honestly recommend this Practice to anyone - and have done many times. I have always been petrified of having any dealings with Dentists at all but at this practice they always do their best for you. Everything is explained to you as the work is being done so you know what to expect and they go out of their way to help you relax. There are no queues or cramped waiting rooms -it's just very calm and quiet. Wish I'd found a practice like this when I was younger as it would have saved me so much worry and fear.
I hadn't been to a dentist in almost 25 years following a traumatic experience during my last visit all those years ago. I spoke with Bridget in total confidence about my fear and she has been totally confidential with my issue and handled my treatment with the most sensitive and utmost care. It was possible I could easily have lost the remainder of my teeth over the next few years, but with the help of Bridget that will now not happen and I can smile openly again. The receptionists are always pleasant and very polite and friendly and speak to me as if they have know me for years. I am so so pleased the hard part is over for me and I can now go for regular checkups and hygiene appointments without a second thought. A big thank you to the whole team x
I was looking for a dentist and was recommended the Shaw dental practice. One of my filling had come off so I needed that redone. When the doctor started drilling my tooth I realised his hands were badly shaking, The doctor was not able to keep the mirror steady enough not to clink on my teeth and while drilling I could clearly feel and hear his hands were shaking. Reluctantly I had to go back because the pain was still there and he told me that the adjacent tooth had a cavity as well. I did not allow him to drill another tooth and went to another dentist. She explained me that when rebuilding the first one it would have been impossible not to see the cavity on the adjacent one. Spent lots of money to receive dreadful service. Stay off it.
I have been a patient at this practice for approximately 10years, the staff have seen me through my teenage years and always provided me with excellent care. I was reccommend to take up 'denplan essentials' which has been a great help and enabled me to budget my finances while providing me with all the care I need. The whole team are lovely and very professional- highly reccommend!

I was recommended to john by a friend and he is very calm and friendly with you. My extraction was done without any discomfort what so ever and you get good aftercare if you should need it.
I have been a patient at Shaw Village for around 3 years now. The team always have been very good and offered the best service. Highly recommenced!
