Fantastic place for a walk alone the coastal paths as well as going down to the beach.
Be careful it's down a very narrow road only one car at a time you will have to pull in at certain points to let cars through. Otherwise a great parking place for free it's not done up or anything and is basically just mud parking but it's free so what can be expected. Definitely will use again if wanting to go to the beach or having a walk.
Everyone likes a free car park, but the access road is so narrow that you will even need to pause while negotiating passing *pedestrians* . Access to the beach via a steep set of stairs with circa 30 metres descent.
Note that access to this car park is along a half-mile road barely 2m wide with tall bramble hedges on either side and half a dozen passing places. At the entrance is a hight barrier about 2.25m clearance. Our VW T5 campervan got in with an inch to spare. The walk around the point is well worth it though.
Miles and Miles or footpaths and wildlife with spectacular coastal views. Coastal path to Berry Head one way and Mansands the other but not for the elderly or infirm and no wheelchairs. No toilets. Ample parking. Watch out for birds of prey hanging in the sky and Adders in the grass in summer.
Narrow approach road, steep path and steps to beach which is scenic.
A beautiful nature reserve with stunning views out to sea. Lovely walks and fishing off the rocks. Fish you can catch are Mackerel, Gar, Pollock and Bass.
Car park at sharkham point, away from the crowds, a little difficult to get to down a single track road but once your there excellent access to St. Mary's beach, sharkham point headland and the south west coast path.
Quiet ,out the way, good walks around the area
A sunny day for beautiful walk awesome views.
