A small piece of heaven perched on the cliffs above St Mary's Bay !!.. Fantastic accommodation, the lodge no25 did not disappoint , spacious and comfortable ,inside & out ,a well presented, clean and tidy environment to gaze across the coastline . A fabulous experience shared with the super efficient customer service, and with the picturesque Brixham harbour , the views across Torbay from Shoalstone and Berry Head all within easy walking distance I Will definitely be back for more .
We have a long weekend away each Autumn to volunteer with the Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust. This year, several factors combined, resulting us in being later in the year, after the clocks going back. Regular holiday park wasn't open for November, so we tried Riviera Bay. More expensive than our regular haunt, but the facilities within the Lodges are better. The ensuite meant less waiting for a shower after a soaking working at Berry Head. Spacious lounge area and the additional worktop space of the kitchen island meant the three of us never felt crowded. A larger flat screen tv allowed some background images as we chatted. The central heating meant essentials like work gloves dried out overnight. Will certainly think hard about returning for next October's trip.
A nice quiet location on the clifftop overlooking St. Mary's Bay, Brixham. Approx 12 minute walk from a local pub, and around 25 minute walk from the Guardhouse Cafe at Berry Head.
The chalet was clean and had a nice homely finish. It was kitted out with WiFi, netflix, Disney plus and amazon prime. The view from the decking was scenic but marred slightly by the giant sycamore tree obscuring the sea view. The bathroom is spacious and water pressure was goods you can have a decent shower to wash away the sand.
Absolutely great. Super lodge, spacious, clean, well equipped, lovely views and Very peaceful. Will really look forward to next visit.
Riviera Bay is where you go for a quieter stay, minimal noise, parking right in front or beside your lodge. It's self service so you'll be given a key box code by phone a day or so before as no reception on site. The lodges have washing machines and dishwashers as well as a tassimo coffee machine. We had a no agro stay, would recommend to people that don't want a club house and hearing music or people leaving the clubhouse making noises.
A mix of rentable and privately owned lodges are on-site. It has no in house club or shop and is a quite site which is well looked after.it has stunning sea views from some lodges. It also has access to the coastal path walk into Berry head and Brixham or opposite into st Mary's cove.you can access its sister site a few mins walk which does have a shop and pool etc.
Exceptionally clean. Very comfortable beds and a well equipped lodge. Fantastic views from the lodge across the sea. Large decking area with patio furniture. Quiet location. Modern but comfortable. Everything you need for a holiday. Would defo recommend. Brixham just down the road. Lots of places to eat and drink fabulous
Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Stunning seaviews, nothing beats waking up to the sound of birdsong and gently crashing waves. The lodge we stayed in was immaculate and super comfy! The staff we met were all friendly, polite and helpful. We loved our stay and cannot fault the park, its so clean. Bonus having the swimming pool to use as we didnt think it would be open so early in the season! 5 stars from us. Keep up the good work Riveria Bay.
Won't go again, we went before covid and it was great, now there is no entertainment on site, no restaurant, no shop, had to travel to landscove and that was a waste of time, shop only open certain hours, the "amusements" was terrible, kids club non existent. Really disappointed. The lodge was lovely but toilets were discoloured. Such a shame as its a beautiful location.
