Shard Riverside Inn

It's a lovely place where staff are very polite and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very nice. The menu was reasonably priced with a good choice without being too extensive. Breakfast was nice in the morning but I do prefer baked beans with my cooked breakfast. I didn't ask for any though so they might have done me some, I don't know. The room was clean and fresh. There was a black out blind at the window without any curtains so it let in quite a lot of light round the edges into the room. There is WiFi available throughout the hotel and restaurant which was easy to connect to. Overall a great stay. Would definitely recommend.

Great place, almost empty but staff brilliant and down to earth. Just had a drink with friends. Been before for a meal and they are delicious. Freshly prepared and locally sourced. Beautiful views over River Wyre

Fantastic nights stay. All staff very polite and helpful. We stopped in family room which was plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Views across the river stunning. Breakfast in the morning superb. Will definitely stop here again next time we're in the area.

Nice visit and location. We (10 people) were quite late in for lunch so it was relatively empty but the waiting staff were very attentive. Our food was a while but still quite tasty, however I can't comment too much as I'm not the biggest fan of fish and chips.

Excellent location & river view from the room. The bedroom was on the small side, but clean & bright. The food was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
