Celebrating 60th wedding anniversary at the same place where we had our wedding reception in 1958. Thanks to all the staff who looked after 14 of us. The meals of different choices were served at the same time and the food quality was really good. We had an excellent, memorable evening, thank you.

Good venue to have a celebration. Valentine's was a good one!! The staff was welcoming and attentive. It's not getting the full marks as there were few misses. The food was nicely presented and tasty!!

Had an excellent meal with my girlfriend. The food was lovely and the pub is very tasty decorated. Very recommended especially if you take advantage of the deals we has 2 rump steaks with trimming and a nice glass of red for £20, then over endulduged on the chocolate cookie dough pudding.

Was very apprehensive to go here because I didn't like the old Thornton Lodge. Soo much better than before. Choices for every course were very good. Although pricier than your average pub meal it is a lot higher standard. Will return
